I remember these as the yellow car in Cannonball run 2. Strangely they’re still being made today, in Pittsburgh PA

The current gen appears to have sharper creases. Or maybe I’m just seeing things because of the modern wheels. It looks less like fiberglass to me.

Australia had by far the best example of the rising canopy with the Holden Hurricane. Well made by a major manufacturer and in my opinion a better over all shape. Here’s a video made by Holden that does a really good job showing it off

That thing’s fuckin’ cool.

That thing is cool. I wonder how it is to actually drive. They don’t list the weight in the video.
